Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Kameow LLC (“Kameow”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, USA. They apply when you use our websites, our products (including KachaBooth) or our client services. By using them, you agree to these terms.

2. Client services

We provide software development, embedded firmware development, cloud setup, hosting and maintenance services. The scope, schedule and deliverables of each engagement are set out in a written proposal or statement of work that both parties sign. If that document conflicts with these terms, the signed document wins.

You agree to give us the information, access and feedback we reasonably need to do the work, and to review deliverables within 5 business days.

3. Quotes & payment

Fees are agreed in writing before work begins. Unless the proposal says otherwise, amounts are in US dollars and invoices are due within 14 days. Applicable taxes are added to the invoice.

Payments are made to Kameow LLC by bank transfer (ACH or wire) and, where offered, by credit or debit card through our payment processor (being set up). Card details are handled by the payment processor; Kameow never sees or stores full card numbers.

If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, we may pause work or hosting after giving written notice.

4. Ownership

Once you have paid for a deliverable in full, you own the code, designs and content we created for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and grant you a perpetual license to use them as part of your project. We may mention you as a client unless you ask us not to.

5. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other’s non-public business information confidential and uses it only for the engagement. This continues after the engagement ends.

6. Hosting & acceptable use

Services we host run on third-party cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, and are subject to their terms. You may not use our services to break the law, send spam, distribute malware, or infringe anyone’s rights. We may suspend a service that does so.

7. KachaBooth

KachaBooth is provided free of charge, as is. Photos you take stay on your device and belong to you. Frames you submit to kachabooth.com must be your own work or work you have the right to share; by submitting one, you let us review, display and distribute it in KachaBooth. We may remove content that breaks the law or these terms.

8. Cancellation & refunds

• Project work: if you cancel before work begins, any deposit is refunded in full. After work begins, you pay for work completed up to the cancellation date and any unused payment is refunded within 14 days.
• Monthly services: cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. A month already started is not refunded.
• When a service ends, we hand over your code, data and account access.
• Billing questions: email billing@kameow.com within 30 days of the invoice.

9. Warranties & liability

We perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, our websites and products are provided “as is”, without other warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. We may update them; the effective date above shows the latest version, and we will tell active clients about material changes by email.
